Anger issues refer to difficulties in managing and expressing anger in a healthy and constructive manner. While anger is a normal human emotion, persistent or intense anger that interferes with daily functioning and relationships may indicate an underlying issue with anger management. These underlying issues can cause problems in various ares of social functioning and may also cause complicated legal issues and involvement with law enforcement and the court system.

Substance Abuse: Turning to drugs or alcohol as a way to cope with or numb feelings of anger.
Isolation: Withdrawing from social interactions or avoiding situations that may trigger anger outbursts.
It's important to address anger issues, as unresolved anger can lead to various negative consequences, including damaged relationships, legal problems, and negative impacts on physical and mental health. If you are experiencing any of these issues due to anger and related behaviors, we can work together to develop appropriate coping skills and improve emotional expression.
Therapy can help individuals identify triggers for anger, develop coping strategies, improve communication skills, and learn relaxation techniques to manage anger more effectively. Additionally, practicing stress management techniques, such as exercise, mindfulness, and deep breathing exercises, can also help regulate emotions and reduce anger levels.
